"No School Day" Program: PRIMITIVE PROJECTILES

  • Cornwall Park Bellingham, WA (map)

Bellingham Public Schools do not have school on Friday February 10th!

Whether your 7-12 old child attends public school, private school or is homeschooled, they are invited to join us in Cornwall Park for a special Primitive Projectiles-themed day in the forest!

Who doesn't love throwing things?!?

Ancient hunter-gatherers utilized primitive projectiles made from simple sticks to successfully hunt their dinner.

In this class, we will be discussing some basic survival principles and safely experimenting with primitive hunting projectiles such as Rabbit Sticks and Atlatls.

Note: We will not actually be hunting on this program.

In addition, we'll surely be playing nature-awareness games throughout the day!
